How Affiliate Trail™ Integrates with shopping carts
General Integration - Affiliate Trail™ uses an invisible tracking pixel which is placed on your "order confirmation" or "thank you" page. Virtually 100% of carts allow this by editing the page template or code.
When the order confirmation page is displayed the pixel registers the sale within Affiliate Trail™.
Native support - Some payment providers like PayPal offer alternative methods (IPN Callback) to integrate with Affiliate Trail™ that do not require use of the pixel. For IPN Callback we have developed special handlers.
